Who is eligible to vote?
Enrolled Zuni Tribal Members who are 18 years of age or older are eligible to vote.
Where can I register to vote?
Eligible voters may register at the Zuni Census Office, Zuni Election Board Office, or at various Voter Registration Drive events.
What are the voter registration deadlines?
Primary Election: July 31, 2026Registration Reopens: August 13, 2026General Election: November 24, 2026
How can I confirm or update my voter registration?
Voters may call, email, or visit either the Zuni Census Office or Zuni Election Board Office to confirm or update their voter registration information.

In-person voting for both the Primary and General Elections will take place at the:

Is early voting available?
No. Early voting will not be available. Voters who are unable to vote in person may request an absentee ballot.
How do I request an absentee ballot?
Voters may request an absentee ballot by calling, emailing, or visiting either the Zuni Census Office or the Zuni Election Board Office. Both offices are located at: Zuni Cultural Resources Center 26 St. Anthony Street Zuni, NM
What are the absentee ballot deadlines?
General Election: November 24, 2026
How are absentee ballots returned?
Completed absentee ballots must be returned by mail only.
Official absentee ballots include complete instructions, a postage-paid envelope, and the appropriate return address.
What if I live away from Zuni?
Enrolled Zuni Tribal Members living outside the Pueblo—including those away for school, work, military service, medical reasons, or living out of state—may request an absentee ballot and return the completed ballot by mail.
